In May, Owen had two performances for a dance he had been learning at school and for a music class he has been taking all year. Funny thing is both performances where on the same day. So we also decided since a lot of family was going to be coming out our way that it would be best to also celebrate Sadie's birthday considering it was the next day. So it was a busy day, but sure fun.
Owen has been working very hard on the dance for school and you could tell he was very proud of himself. For music class he has learned how to play some songs on tone bells and he was able to perform one of those songs at his recital. It is obvious as Owen gets older that he is enjoying musical type of experiences more and more. I guess as parents we need to embrace that for him and give him opportunities for that desire to grow.
