Halloween or Christmas?

As many of you know our four year old is so super excited for Christmas, that several times before Halloween arrived we had to convince him that we still needed to celebrate Halloween. So come Halloween night the plan was that Kerry was going to take the kids out and I would stay at home to give out the candy. But Owen had a different plan. He wanted mom to dress up as a witch and go out trick or treating. As you can see in the photo Owen got is way. Next problem, we set out to go trick or treating and I don't take a stroller or wagon for Carson because we are only going to a few houses. Anyway an hour and half later we came wandering home. I forget how heavy a two year can get after carrying them for half an hour. But once all was said and done it was a great Halloween.
The next day, Owen was completely ready to set up Christmas, I am truly all for this and actually have done that the last two years. But somehow I can find enough energy to do it. I don't know if it is because I am pregant and always tired. Or maybe I am spending to much time on Primary stuff. But either way I cannot find an extra three days to start decorating, yes it takes me three solid days to convert my house to Christmas, (it is actally something I like doing each year). So for now we have to settle on the reminder that Christmas is only 49 days away and I am okay with listening to Kosy 106.5 or Light Fm 100 playing non stop Christmas music. I promise if you are having a bad day just listen to Christmas music and you'll see how quickly you will be singing and dancing along. So happy holidays to you, whether if be Halloween, Thanksgiving or Christmas.
