We went to church before we did any Christmas gift opening, the kids did way better with it than I thought. So you can see they are waiting at the top of the stairs for the green light to run into the basement and see what Santa has brought. If you look close enough you will see the baby gate to the side, we seriously put it up so no one could sneak downstairs. If you also notice the boys are looking handsome in their church clothes while Sadie is in pajamas. Not because she changed back into them because she never changed out of them. Yes, that is right she went to church in her Dora p.j.'s. She was the most uncooperative child on that morning, so that is what ended up being.

We were lucky enough to have my parents, my brother Todd and his friend Karmen join us for Christmas.
Sadie got this rocking horse from Santa and she loves it so much. It is the cutest thing ever, when we push on the horse's ear it sings and the mouth and tail move.

It is so hard to tell but Owen is jumping up and down and screaming with excitement because Santa brought him Legos. I have never seen anyone that happy over Legos, it was sure cute.

Love the Dora Pajamas. Porter wore his yesterday underneath his church shirt because it just wasn't worth fighting!
You're lucky you have a basement. It was torture to let our kids see the tree & gifts just to rush them into church clothes & breakfast..etc.
Can't believe it's already all over.
