One Tough Little Boy

Late afternoon on Saturday the boys were out in the backyard with Kerry as he did a project. Kerry heard a thump and then screaming. You know the type of scream that your kid produces when something is really wrong. Kerry went running to Carson to find him bleeding from the face. Carson had been standing on top of the dog house and slipped/jumped (who knows what the child did) and fell onto a large rock face first.

Owen immediately becomes Dad's helper and did everything he could to make things better. Mom of course is out shopping and finds out from a cell phone call that they are on their way to Kids Care. So a few minutes after Carson hits his head, he stops crying and no more tears. Never complained when he his having the wound cleaned and receiving stitches, nothing.

He is one tough little boy, you do have to remember this is the same boy that walked around for several days with a broken collar bone and never said anything. He is a crazy, ACTIVE, lively little guy for sure. He truly has lived up to the "terrible threes" and with that said as he approaches his 4th birthday in a several weeks, I hope and pray for him to mature as a 4 year old little boy. But no matter the amount of craziness he produces we love him so much.

Please note that pictures below may show to much blood, but if I can handle seeing the pictures, I am sure you can look at the them and not be to grossed out.

Ouch. Been there! Poor carson.
I'm sure he'll have a minimal scar. I can barely tell in that
2nd photo that he has stitches. Ty was floppin' all over like a fish out of water so he'll have a doozie of a scar :)
