A sure sign that Springtime as arrived is celebrating Easter. We had a wonderful weekend celebrating even though it was cold enough to have to wear coats. The kids were able to go on several egg hunts. We had a neighborhood hunt and then one with Kerry's family and Emily's family as well.
After this weekend I found out how much Owen is enjoying climbing trees. He has not really done it before and now he is big enough to have fun doing it. And for Sadie I realize the warm months are going to be difficult. Because this girl loves being outside and it is going to be challenging making her stay inside.
We were able to enjoy a great meeting at church. Owen sang in a small children's choir in sacrament meeting and did a really good job. While practicing for this song it seems like most of us memorized all the words. So all weekend you could hear them singing about the Beautiful Savior and that was so nice to feel of that spirit.
After church we were able to get a few photos of us all dressed up in our clothes. I loved Sadie's little Easter dress and it was a lot of fun picking it out and all the accessories. Then we got a visit from the Easter Bunny and received baskets full of gifts.
I have posted a few more photos below of the weekend make sure and take a look. Also, to explain the photo with the bunny puppet. While hunting for eggs in Grandpa's backyard, he also come out of the house with this puppet on his hand. Trying to convince the kids that is was the really bunny that hide the eggs. Of course the boys didn't buy it but Sadie thought it was sure fun.
