Yes folks we went to Las Vegas for Thanksgiving this year. In my entire life this was the first time to travel at Thanksgiving. There are positives and negatives to this.
The down size is traveling in the cold and snowy weather. We had issues with the weather traveling both there and back. See my photos posted below about this. Plus while we were gone it is like 5 degrees back home and our poor neighbors had to help bring the dogs in our house each night while we are gone.
Positives, I was out of town. If you know me you know I am always game for a good road trip. We got to see my brother, sister in-law and their baby. My kids love these people so much. Most everyone's kids always say their favorite place to go to is Disneyland. Not my boys they would tell you, Las Vegas to see Aunt Cassee.
Overall things went well and now we are back home preparing for Christmas. Except there is not much to prepare. I am done Christmas shopping , minus 2 presents. Plus my house and tree have been set up since the 2nd week of November. So now I have plenty of time to sip hot cocoa and watch Christmas movies, LOL!!!
